Please note that each session must be paid for whether your child attends or not. We prefer the children to be "rising 3's" (that is the term in which they are 3) however, we are able to accept them from 2½ years old, subject to the availability of places and providing they are potty trained.
Entry is available at the beginning of September, January and Easter, allowing children to start as soon as possible after they have reached 2½ years old. We are able to offer "all day" care for over 3's, where the children bring a packed lunch and stay over the lunch hour.
Fees & NEG funding (3+ to 5 years)
Children are entitled to NEG (Nursery Education Grant) funding from the term after the term that they are 3, until they start school. The grant is a maximum of 12½ hours per week (5 x 2½ hour sessions) over 38 weeks. Any additional time taken with us will be charged at £4 per hour.
£12 per morning session
£4 per lunch hour
£10 per afternoon session
Late payment will incur a surcharge

All the Nursery staff are professionally trained and CRB checked. They are supported by a committee of parents who are responsible for the overall management of the nursery.
As St.Mary's Nursery is a registered charity, we carry out a number of fundraising activities throughout the year. These include sponsored bike rides, sports days and raffles etc. All the funds raised are put back into the Nursery. Recent purchases have included a computer, storage units, toys, outside play equipment and the covered pergola.
Please visit our photo gallery to view some of the activities we have undertaken.
